Suzy Schmalbeck is a former elementary school teacher with a background in special education and a love of sustainable practices. During her six years in the classroom, Suzy taught all subjects with a focus on hands-on project-based learning. She enjoys working with others and has led multiple teacher workshops for the Greenville County School District in South Carolina. Suzy was an invaluable member of Urban Sustainability Solutions as the Education Specialist.
